Do Corner Shop charge a percentage per transaction?
Answer - No all you pay is the monthly fee.

Who is this system for?
Answer - anybody who is looking for a great looking, easy to navigate website store and wishes to sell their products online, but have not got the time or resources needed to undertake this type of project successfully. This includes existing website owners, existing online store owners that are unhappy with the results they are currently achieving.

Do I have to sell my products online?
Answer - No. We can build a web site so that it behaves very much like an online brochure. If required, we can link this to a postal/fax form that can be printed out complete with order details for alternative order processing.

What products can I sell?
Answer - anything you like. We are not biased in any way to the range of products you have, but do not build stores that contain adult orientated goods or are of a pornographic nature.


Will Corner Shop take on any type of store?
After the initial consultation we will assess whether your products are suitable to sell online. Although they are few and far between, there are of course, some products that are not suitable for online sales.

Will I have to pay for consultation?
Answer - Simply no.

What do I get?
Answer - A store fully designed to fit in with your company profile, hosting (web space) for your store, a domain name (or use your existing), a secure form to accept credit card payments for manual processing, all your product text and images added to the store, updates every month, search engine monitoring and registration, statistics on web usage and an admin area that allows you to collect the order details.

What else do I need?
Answer - All you need is a computer with Internet access to receive emails so that orders can be received and the ability to manually process credit card orders. Corner Shop takes care of the rest.

What control will I get over the finished design?
Answer - Whilst designing the look of your store we will listen carefully to your needs and follow any guidelines that you may set in place. The client is required to sign off the design as complete.

What is the maximum number of products I can sell?
Answer - This is really up to you. Some of our existing client stores sell over 1500 products.

How much will all this cost?
Answer - Please see our service levels page for further details.

Is there a set up fee?
Answer - Simply no

How is support provided after my store has gone live?
Answer - Requests for changes and additions are made by the client through our online login area. This helps us to avoid misunderstandings. The client is then notified via email when their request has been completed.

What will I save by using the Corner Shop system?
Answer - This varies between companies as every company has different overheads that they need to take into account. Please see our page The Real Cost of Ecommerce.
