    Online Shopping High on the List for Christmas 2003
    Online shopping featured highly on the Christmas list of British Internet users, according to recent research conducted by NOP World. The Internet User Profile Survey found that 10.4 million adults purchased goods online in the run-up to Christmas 2003. This equates to 50% of all web users, and represents a year-on-year growth rate of 21%. Carl Geraghty, Associate Director at NOP World, comments: "All in all, 2003 was a very good year for British e-Commerce.
